These are the five North Dallas school districts my community guides touch most often. A community can span more than one district, and lots or phases inside the same community can feed different campuses, so treat these as starting points and verify the exact address.
Prosper ISD
Prosper, Celina, north Frisco and north McKinney
Fast-growing and still opening campuses, so the named school can change between contract and closing. Parts of several communities here sit in Prosper ISD while other lots in the same community do not.

A roughly 220-acre pocket inside west Prosper is legally in Denton ISD but has historically attended Prosper ISD under a contract. Those owners pay Denton ISD taxes. Confirm the arrangement for the specific lot.

School District ≠ School Assignment
A home's city, mailing address, community name or distance from a campus does not determine the school it is assigned to. Attendance boundaries are drawn by the district, they cut through neighborhoods, and in growing districts they are redrawn as new campuses open.
Two lots on the same street inside the same master-planned community can feed different elementary schools — and in a few North Dallas communities, different districts entirely. Before you purchase, verify the specific property address directly with the applicable district and ask what is planned for the year your child will enroll.

A McKinney address can be zoned to McKinney ISD, Prosper ISD or Frisco ISD. Never assume the city and district match.
One street can change everything

In fast-growing districts, the campus named today may not be the campus your child attends in two years.
